Welcome to the Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering at ARMIET. We started Diploma in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from 2012 with intake of 60. Our aim to provide students with a perfect blend of intellectual and practical experiences that helps them to serve our society and address a variety of needs of people.
Our Laboratories have been very well established not only to cover complete syllabus but to motivate students to learn beyond the syllabus which definitely develops complete knowledge of the subject (both the practical and theoretical). We also conducted Value Added Program and workshops with hands-on experience like 3D Printing, Robotics, and Solar Energy etc.
I am very pleased to present you the newsletter of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering Department. Truly, irrespective of class or cadre or calibre, it is the dynamism and
pervasiveness of the vision that can lead to sustainable excellence. The big theme today is to focus on creativity and innovation alongside academics.
To create high-quality technical education in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering by focusing on needs of the society and being in tune with advanced technological changes.
Our department has a team of qualified, hard working and dedicated faculty and staff members and we are striving hard continuously to improve upon the quality of education and to maintain its position of leadership in engineering and technology. We always work with the motto ;Project Based Learning; Project Based Learning (PBL) prepares students for academic, personal, and career success, and readies young people to rise to the challenges of their lives.
Our department Main concept is to build necessary hands-on skills required for employability through career training and entrepreneurial qualities in infrastructure development.

Brief Profile: Mrs. Paurnima Patil has been working with ARMIET since January 2019. She received her M.E degree in ‘VLSI & Embedded Systems’ from Sinhgad College of Engineering, Pune in 2009.She has teaching experience of 6 years and industrial experience of 6 months. Before joining ARMIET, Paurnima worked as Assistant Professor in St.Xavier College of Engg. Mahim. There she taught various subjects of EXTC like AWP & DSP with 100% results. She has more than 6-National level paper publications along with one ‘IEEE’ publication & One ‘INTERNATIONAL magazine article ‘on image processing. She is Life time member of “ISTE”.

Brief Profile: Has worked as a Regulatory Technical analyst in Maharashtra Electricity Regulatory commission, Mumbai for 3.5 years and working as an Assistant Professor in Electronics and Telecommunications department from last 5 years. Expertise in the electricity generation, transmission and distribution, Tariff adoption for PPAs, MAHA Energy Policy & Smart Grid, Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum. Desk Study and Analysis on Smart grid implementation for the distribution companies in Maharashtra.
