About Us

Alamuri Ratnamala Institute of Engineering & Technology, Shahapur, Thane, ARMIET, was established in 2007 and the Department of Civil Engineering was established in 2009. The department has an excellent infrastructure and is approved by University of Mumbai, DTE, and AICTE. It has got intake of 60 students in First Year as well as another additional intake of 60 students in Direct Second Year.

The Department of Civil Engineering at ARMIET has developed laboratory for Engineering Mechanics, Strength of Materials, Building Materials & Construction, Surveying, Concrete Technology, Fluid Mechanics & Hydraulics, Transportation Engineering, Geo-Technical Engineering, Engineering Geology and Environmental Engineering. The Department is also planning to offer consultancy services in the concerned fields, very soon.

Department of Civil Engineering is headed by Mr. Pawan Pandey along with a team of highly qualified, dedicated faculty. Department is also conducting various Seminars, workshops, etc. to have good industry institute interaction to provide our students industrial exposure.
